Well, I tried the texture thing… but I didn’t like how it was looking.
So, I went with what I had.
Here’s the SOOC:
I adjusted in Camera Raw, erased the hydro line, ran CoffeeShop’s Sun kissed action, and painted a black layer over the sky and adjusted opacity. Result:

I think your first edit looks incredible. Keep playing around with the texture or just really lower your opacities. You can also use layer masks to erase it from part of the image.
