So… I had no idea what to do with this.
But, played around a bit, and actually like the result!
I first adjusted it in Camera Raw.
Then, cloned out the water spot, and the blue in the right bottom corner. Did a Gaussian blur – and erased it from the hearts.
I ran PW’s Seventies action. High Pass filter. Then, a “Vanilla Pop” action… I don’t remember where it came from.

So, what do you think? I love how the red just pops out now.

Anyhow, I like how the colours have popped and yet the background looks like a true white at the same time. Now the picture makes the eye spend more time looking at it as it picks out the details.
