But, I did try to capture something for the "self-potrait" theme at iheartfaces... but I didn't get it done until it was too late. :/
So, I decided to play around with the picture just for fun! :D
I added some texture - I used Kim Klassen's "Silent Night", a "Sparkle" texture I had, and I also did ... something in PSE9, that I can't even remember! Something to do with matching photo styles with another picture.
Here's what I ended up with:
I believe I erased the texture off of the Christmas ball at about 40%.
I know it's not perfect, but at least I'm trying something different! :)
And, just because I think it turned out really well, here's a pic of the sweater I made for the teddy we're giving my nephew for Christmas! :D
Isn't that so cute?!?? I might make one for my 'babies are coming!' pile! I'm sure to get another niece or nephew eventually. ;)
I just realized that Jess has her December linky up, so I'm going to add my pic to her link!
I'm so impressed with that little sweater. Cute, cute.
ReplyDeleteI love how those ornaments act like super-wide angle lenses, and that your selfie gives us a little glimpse into your life. Is one of your kiddos going through that open door!?
That is a really interesting pic! I like!
ReplyDeleteI also like your teddy sweater. I want to be able to crochet and knit too - I have a little girl who thinks knit sweaters are the best thing ever.
I love the selfie - very seasonal!
ReplyDeleteAwww...Cute teddy with sweaters! They need that, or they look too naked. :P
ReplyDeleteCool idea with using the ornament. Pretty cool indeed.
Great selfie. I love that sweater. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteGrrr! Just lost my comment! I was SAYING... I must do the reflection in the ornament this year - love it! Hope you're having a great week! ♥
ReplyDeleteVery cool self portrait! It's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm also in love with that teddy bear sweater. Could it be any cuter? I have my doubts! :D
