The kids had such a blast at VBS - you should see all the fun crafts they came home with!
Here's the shirts they made.
Our neighbour's barn burned down Monday night.... and we didn't hear a thing. In our defense, we were in the house with a/c on (it's been incredibly hot here!!) and we were so exhausted. Pretty bad, though. ;)

And finally, I've been trying to play with texture. I don't really know how to do it. Here's an attempt. I do like our pink poppies. :)

ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's THAT barn - :O but then, if I had been as tired as you guys, with the a/c on, I probably wouldn't have heard it either. Actually, scratch that - even if the a/c were off I wouldn't have heard anything. XD

ReplyDeleteI copied a texture that I had downloaded free somewhere on the internet. ;) Then, I pasted it over the poppy picture. I turned down the opacity. (Can't remember how much.) Then, I erased the texture off of the poppy 100%, and about 30% off the bud in the background.
I think I should have turned the opacity of the texture down some more... I'll just have to try again! :)
Oh, and I did it all in Photostudio! :)
