I live near Lake Huron, so I had all these grand plans of taking pictures of the lake... but, it didn't happen. ;)
So, this morning I took these:
Focus on the willow leaves.
Brown Boy loves the creek. :)
The lighting was bad, but I like it in B&W.
And finally, this was from a few days ago - raindrops on flowers.
Did you capture any water pictures this week?
Join in the fun at Beth's! :)
I love them all- and I say the lighting is just fine in the bw :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures...love the legs one...love when an underexposure just works out anyways...
ReplyDeleteI like the creek. It's not as foreboding as the lake.
ReplyDeleteThe legs shoot is great!
ReplyDeleteWow Adeena, each picture is special in its own way! Love every shot! That first one is my fave fave favorite!! Oh, that's super cool! (We're heading to my parents' cabin in Branson in a couple weeks - creeks, etc. - so if you see a similar shot, yes, I stole it from you). I LOVE that idea & wouldn't have thought of it. Very artsy!
ReplyDeleteThe shot with him standing in the water is just magical. Do you realize his feet are glowing? I've never heard of a foot halo! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe black & white is my fav.
ReplyDeleteI really like the b&w (isn't it fun how b&w can save often save problem photos?), but I am absolutely CRAZY for your first shot. Love that dof, it leaves so much to the imagaination, love the contrast and texture to the out of focus water... almost looks like a path to explore more than a stream. Very nice job, Adeena.
ReplyDeleteThe second one is my favorite...the foot halo had me at "hello"! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments! :)
ReplyDeleteI do love how the legs turned out B&W.
Karli & Jess - I think that one is my fav, too. I was so happy it turned out! I 'stole' your chair idea, Karli, so you're welcome to my creek idea! :D
Kathleen and Courtney - foot halo. Snort. :D That's hilarious! I never thought about it like that. It really does look like that, though! :)
I love all of your photos but those legs in black and white? PERFECTION! Wonderfully done!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one! That is so awesome. I also like the water droplets on the flowers, very pretty! :)
