brightened
deepened
ran low Portra effect
smart blur
sharpened
added a frame.
Their faces still weren't bright enough for me, so I opened it in Lightroom (while I still can use the free trial!! :)
I adjusted the levels until I liked what I saw - don't know exactly what I did. But, I like the result.
Their faces are a lot brighter, which is what I wanted.

Adeena, these are BEAUTIFUL!! I loved the 1st edit until I saw the 2nd edit! Their eyes are just glowing and they look so much warmer. Great job! (And what's this about a free Lightroom trial? Hmmm... I'm not really sure on the difference between Lightroom and CS4 - which I use). I know people that use both, so maybe I should take a peek at Lightroom.
